In the movie store...

So, the other night my wife wanted to watch Leatherheads, so I went to the movie store and grabbed it, but also saw Ironman there, and thought that I would like to see that one too. Then I saw the sign that said 3 movies, 3 days, 3 dollars, 4 movies, 4 days, 4 dollars, etc. all the way up to 7. So I spent some time browsing and finally found a third one. I went to the counter and the lady (who seemed grumpy and tired at the same time) started to ring me through, and I decided to confirm this sign I had seen. See informed me that it only applied to the general section, not the new releases. So both Ironman and Leatherheads did not fit in that category. So I decided not to take three movies home when they were due back the next day. But when I went back there the next day to drop off the movie, I decided to get Ironman, since my wife was hosting an Epicure party last night. I also took a quick peek in the general section, and started finding some titles that I was interested in seeing. Especially at $1 each. I came home with 7 movies plus Ironman. So the plan was to watch Ironman last night, and then have a week to watch all the others. Most of them were from the action section, so my wife was not too impressed about none of them being chick flicks. But that is the beauty of going by yourself to get cheap movies for yourself. I figured National Treasure 2 would be the closest I would get to a chick flick. Anyhow, last night some of the guys that were also free came to watch a movie, but one of them had just seen Ironman, so we picked something else. It was lame. Then when it was over, I remembered I had to watch Ironman before the next day, so I stayed up and watched it. I liked it. But am also tired. The moral of the story is, don't get one movie that has to go back tomorrow and a bunch of others that go back in a week unless you are watching them alone. And perhaps if that is the case you should not be watching so many movies.

Watching 7 movies in 7 days should work out fine. More like, watch 3 of them in one day to make up for all the days you missed.
